Twix bites, again? Don't be fooled with this updated recipe, they taste rather different but are just as moreish! I am a sucker for all things salted caramel, so this recreation was inevitable...
I hope you enjoy! (they probably won't last much longer than a day)!
Makes 10:
Biscuit layer:
· 30g coconut flour
· 60g all-purpose flour
· 20g cane sugar
· 2tbsp coconut oil
· 3-4tbsp non-dairy milk
Salted caramel layer:
· 40g tahini
· 40g Natures Charm coconut salted caramel sauce
Chocolate topping
· 60g vegan milk chocolate
Method:
1. Mix together biscuit ingredients and form into 10 small balls. Press into cookie shapes on a lined baking tray and bake in a preheated oven (170C) for 10 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, mix together tahini and caramel sauce to form the caramel layer.
3. Remove cookie bites from the oven and leave to cool completely.
4. Melt chocolate in a heat proof bowl and top each biscuit with a teaspoon of caramel. Coat in chocolate and leave them to cool in the fridge.
